Parsley, an innovative software for chefs that connects local cooks to hungry customers, has expanded into Texas.

According to a press release, Parsley's operations in Texas will be directed under the leadership of newly appointed CEO Mason Arnold and COO Sloan Foster.

Best App for Chefs?

Parsley serves the communities in which it operates by empowering local home chefs.

Through this culinary app, people can search for meals based on their region and food preferences. Customers are able to rate their favorite meals, connect personally with chefs to create meal plans, and support local entrepreneurs at an affordable price.

According to BBC.com, the Food Standards Agency revealed that 44% of new food businesses are home-based since the beginning of the COVID-19 lockdown.

Professional Chef Apps

Professional chef apps such as Parsley provide entrepreneurs with a platform to effectively market and safely sell their products. Food plans are customizable and can be tailored to fit a customer's health needs such as allergies or taste preferences.

By utilizing Parsley, customers will have the ability to taste a multitude of different cuisines from some amazing local chefs. In a time where we may need it most, the culinary app provides an opportunity to build a community around something that unites everyone.

"I'm really excited about helping people connect with their neighbors and build community around food," Arnold said in the release. "For me, it's not just about home-cooked meals, but rebuilding our relationships with those around us after some very challenging times."
