The Fort Worth Food and Wine Festival 'Fall Edition' is here to bring you to North Texas' own Flavor Town.
According to an article from the Fort Worth Business Press, the Fort Worth Food + Wine Foundation will host its culinary event series between Oct. 22 - 24 at Clearfork Heart of the Ranch.
The event hosted by the Fort Worth Food and Wine Festival will incorporate innovative events and food items based on popular Southern festivities.
“The incredible foundation board, our team of amazing chefs, and myself are so excited for the opportunity to bring the Festival back to life this year. We have worked together over the past 18 months to support each other and now we are ready to say thank you to the community that helped us get through the hardships,” Executive Director Julie Eastman said in the Fort Worth Business Press article.
This mini-festival aims to highlight all things food and beverage in North Texas and will even feature a unique event awarding one lucky restaurant “The Best in Tacos” award. From live music, to 'Funkytown,' to a gourmet southern brunch, the culinary event series truly has something for each member of the family.
Here are some of the innovative events planned, as shown in the Fort Worth Business Press article:
"Taco. Beer. Repeat. — Friday, October 22, 5:30 p.m.- 9 p.m.
Experience the best Tacos and beer Funkytown has to offer, from the traditional to the inventive. 18 chefs and 20 beverage vendors will bring their most delicious grub to this Friday night event. Ticket covers all food and beverages.
Gameday Gourmet Saturday, October 23, 1:30-5 p.m.
Get a little Gameday fancy alongside 18 chefs bringing their A-game as they prepare tailgate favorites from sliders to a variety of meats cooked over live fire. Enjoy Texas craft beers, wines, and spirits from 20 different beverage vendors. Don’t forget to come tailgate ready in your favorite team jersey and fan gear! Ticket covers all food and beverages.
Bluegrass Brunch Sunday — Oct. 24, 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
Start the day with a bit of Southern cooking and a live Bluegrass band. Enjoy drinks and appetizers before sharing brunch at community tables. The seated five-course feast is a collaboration of six gifted chefs and includes various beverage pairings."
Due to the ongoing pandemic, this annual event was forced to cease operations last year as a safety precaution for both food vendors and attendees alike. Therefore, this year's event is sure to be a hit, and all North Texas residents are invited to enjoy this exquisite culinary experience.
“This special fall edition will deliver not only the best culinary experience Fort Worth has to offer, but will also be a great way to invite our family, friends, and supporters back to the table to celebrate the resilience, talent, and passion of our entire Fort Worth Food + Wine Foundation team,” Eastman said in the Fort Worth Business Press article.
