In today’s society, we have more information available than ever before throughout history. As a natural consequence of this information overload, we tend to forget things.
According to the article from Houston Innovation Map, companies know that at least 80 percent of the information they relay to their employees during their training will be forgotten in one to three months.
With such a large portion being forgotten in a relatively short period, how do we combat this?
Through technology such as artificial intelligence, it may be possible to predict when an employee may forget something. Thus, emphasizing the reinforcement of that specific piece of training or information.
